Good location and friendly staff
A bit expensive for the room provided which was a bit cramped and needed an upgrade .
Breakfast was ok but not great and not included .

The rooms were comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal good but lack of vegetarian options. Breakfast was good for the price. Prices of drinks reasonable.
Pub and dining was a little outdated and scruffy in places. Walls thin so easily disturbed by other rooms. Rooms clean but a little dusty in places. No amosphere to pub (would benefit from some quiet background music maybe) especially as very quiet when we stayed.

We absolutely loved the feel of this place. The pub area is so lovely and welcoming. We arrived at around 7 pm, checked in with no problems at all, and ordered some food.
The pie and chips were fantastic, and the burger was lovel, too. Everything was really tasty and just what we needed after arriving.
Our room had pretty much everything we needed, and anything that was missing, the staff went out of their way to find for us, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, a comfortable temperature, the bed was really comfy, and the bathroom was perfectly fine.
Breakfast the next morning was lovely too — the poached eggs were cooked perfectly!
And of course, Ernie was definitely the star of the show! Such a great addition to an already beautiful and welcoming inn. 🥰
We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!

Not much really
The price for what you got for this price it should have included breakfast.all my friends thought the same thing so it wasn't just me its a bit dated .
