The owners were super nice, gave a lot of tips anf information about places to visit and things to do in the are. I also organise canyoning tour through them for a great price.
I was staying in the dorm alone so had no issues but if it would be full the room would likely feel quite small, there are also no curtains on the beds or lockers.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Baños! The host family is super nice and there is always someone available if you need anything. The place is very close to everything. It’s a five minute walk to the bus terminal, a five minute walk to buses for other places. Good Wi-Fi. Nice kitchen. Beautiful garden. Extremely secure. What more could you ask for?
