Sandra war sehr nett und hat uns ein paar regionale Produkte und ein Präsent mitgebracht.
Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat nichts gefehlt.

Das sehr saubere und gut eingerichtete Studio liegt an einer wenig befahrenen Dorfstraße. Brötchen gibt es beim Bäcker, der etwa 5min mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. Von der Terrasse aus hat man eine herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Bei gutem Wetter kann man auf der (überdachten) Terrasse frühstücken. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat auch ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns mit einen schönen Begrüßungskorb überrascht. Die Dusche ist in der Badewanne; eine Trennwand hält aber den Rest des Badezimmers trocken.
Die Hunde auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite sind teilweise auch Nachts zu hören.

Even a washing machine with detergent.
Communication with Sandra was prompt, very helpful and very easy. She even gave us a welcome basket with homemade jam, some sweet bread etc. Thank you so much!
The location is good to explore Lajes (whale watching, Ritinha restaurant) and the Eastern side of the island ( many nice hikes). Even Madalena in the West and the airport are only about an hour away.
Unfortunately, we a lot of rain-but the wonderful host made up for it. And on „our“ clear day, we saw Pico.
