The property was very warm and cosy, everything was there that you require for a short stay
The cottage is on the main road, which is very busy for such a small village and motorists exceeding the speed limit so you have to be careful

Everything, the location was lovely and tranquil, but also close to everything (Colchester, Coggleshall and Flatford all really easy to reach and local shops and restaurants not far - local pub is good too). The hosts were very thoughtful and provided everything needed for a lovely stay. It was homely, easy to find, well laid out for parking and picking up the keys, is one of the best holiday cottages I have visited.
Nothing,.it was absolutely lovely

Quiet, comfortable and well-appointed, lovely to have biscuits, tea etc awaiting us after a long journey. Would stay again.

Despite the smell it was very clean and well a equipt. Very comfy large bed.
Idea location for seeing friends
I didn't realise it excepted dogs until I walked in and could smell a funny smell, read the visitors book and saw people had taken dogs. Unfortunately it upset my son's asthma.
Need a bigger sign saying bay tree cottage as took ages to find it as more plants outside than what the photo showed.
Sofa bed in front room uncomfortable.
