The hosts make the experience what it is. They make you feel like you can ask them for anything you need and they’ll do their absolute best to provide it. They were always readily available and able to assist with any information we needed about the local area and things to do. Clelland recommended we visit the local distillery so we pre-booked a tour based on his recommendation and had a great experience. The wildlife around the property was amazing and the local Inn was fantastic for food at dinner time. If you’re lucky enough to experience a clear sky the stars are on full display, so in the Castle suite with the skylight it was beautiful. If back on Arran we wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again, mostly due to the welcoming nature of Clelland and Christine.

We had an outstanding stay and could not fault the experience in any way. Our hosts were attentive and happy to assist with dietary requests. They even took us to and from a local restaurant so that we could both enjoy a drink with our meal. A fabulous, relaxing, luxurious time that we are eager to repeat!

Gorgeous room. Hugely spacious, beautifully decorated. Thoughtful complimentary items (crisps, proper milk for tea etc)
Breakfast served as a picnic in the bedroom - weird! Think they haven't finished refurbing a breakfast room maybe? No hot breakfast available, limited option on cold. No proper coffee.
