The location in front of the beach and the facilities and the personal working at the hotel super kind.
The room we got was nice but at night was super warm and didn't have a control to graduate it so we ended up sleeping with open window in December.

The warmth and friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was amazing. The design and comfort of the holiday house as well as how well equipped the kitchen was for self-catering.
Heating didn’t run in the bathroom and mouldy shower curtain.

It had a very nice location.
We arrived very late with the kids, and the hotel was supposed to leave information about our room and the keycard in an agreed location. I found those easily, but that’s when things got “exciting”: there were no instructions whatsoever on where the room was actually located or how to get there.
So, after midnight and a long drive, I found myself wandering around the hotel with a map, trying to match room numbers and names. It felt a little like doing a children’s treasure hunt, except nobody really wanted to play at that hour.
Eventually, I found a phone number on a side door and managed to wake up a member of staff, who kindly came and showed us to our room.
And then came the next surprise. Our “family room” was quite clearly a former conference room with five beds placed in it. The projector cables were still hanging from the ceiling, and a magnetic presentation board had been creatively hidden behind a curtain. Waking up there in the morning felt a little like we had just survived a very long meeting.
I completely understand the practicality of turning conference spaces into guest rooms when needed. But if you are going to sell one as a family room, it deserves a little more effort to actually make it feel like one. This conversion felt very half-hearted.
And finally, the room had no private toilet or shower. At that point, somehow, this was no longer particularly surprising. 😄
To be fair, the staff member we spoke to in the morning did reduce our bill by 500 SEK, which we appreciated. However, when we gave feedback about the room itself, the response felt surprisingly defensive rather than receptive. The discount was a nice gesture, but our main concern wasn’t really about the money. It was about the standard of the room being sold as family accommodation and the overall experience that came with it.
