- The Kids zone was a complete waste. I wanted to drop off my son to take care of some business outside the hotel. The staff at kids zone informed me that the child cannot be left unattended. This is ridiculous and unacceptable especially when you are charging 800 pesos. Why should I pay 800 pesos if no one will be taking care of my son? I could have taken him to a park or playground for free if I needed to be present. I had to cancel business meetings because my son could not be left unattended. I chose Shangri La because of its kids zone and the fact that I could trust the hotel with my son. Shangri La in Boracay offered an unforgettable experience for my son not to mention that I could leave my son unattended all day.
