It was a nice house with a lot of potential, however, more attention to cleaning and maintenance of the house would be appreciated. One of the seats on the roof was broken, the half bathroom sink was clogged, many of the floors were not mopped, the bathrooms were not cleaned thoroughly and there was debris on the upstairs bathroom wall that looked like they mopped the floor and used the same mop, without rinsing, to clean the walls. It actually had hair on wall.

Overall, this place worked out well for us. Not knowing Philadelphia at all, the reason we chose this place was the rooftop, which we used each day/night. It wasn't the most elaborate place to stay, but it worked well for us. (We were there for my brother's funeral, so we were grateful to have a place for all of us to be together.) The owner was easily reached and kept us well informed when necessary. The location was interesting. We're used to living in a house with a lot of land and a driveway, so staying in a rowhouse was a real change of pace for us.....not a bad one. All in all, we were dry, cool and comfortable.

This was a great weekend home away from home for us. Great layout, loads of space, and that roof deck and the panoramic city views were the best. Super quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfy. Furniture on the roof deck was a bit worn and rickety but we loved sitting up there in the mornings and for sunset and beyond after a day around the city. Found great restaurants nearby. Would stay again!!
