I loved the hotel architecture and the beach which was really private
There is not much around it. No typical vilage, no local folklore
So it is good if you are planning a holiday retreat with your family or as a couple but definitely not the night life of Bodrum

An absolutely brilliant property that goes above and beyond - from your personal GEM concierge, the spacious rooms, Aegean views, superb dining and the best breakfast in Europe (including gozleme station), the best gym I've ever seen, the best spa/wellness in Europe (think salt rooms, hydrotherapy circuits, hammams, basketball, pickleball, Technogym, full medical services, deluxe beauty, serious heath regimes). We have stayed at many Six Senses but this property is next level, three private sandy beaches in the private compound, golf buggies to take you around the property, blissful shady gardens, sunset bar and superb dining - from freshly caught fish to tradition lamb/beef kebab. There is a reason why there are no many return guests here. Cannot wait to return!

The property itself is genuinely amazing. Three private beaches that stay quiet even when the hotel is at reasonable occupancy. The location manages to feel completely removed from the outside world without ever feeling inaccessible. The remoteness is actually a feature.
Our concierge Bushra was beyond amazing, she made the whole stay feel effortless.
We had a couple of hiccups early in the stay. What impressed us was how the team handled it. We raised it once, they took it seriously, and they turned it around quickly. In our experience that kind of responsiveness is rarer than it should be at this level, and we genuinely appreciated it.
The one area that fell short was the food pricing. Lunch and dinner were priced at Michelin restaurant levels, which would be fine if the food experience matched that. It was very good, but it did not feel justified at that price point. For a property this strong across the board, it is worth knowing going in.

The restaurants are lovely- never had a bad meal and the beach is really nice, the gardens and the outlook of the property in general is beautiful. Gym was great, and kids club was exceptional. Staff in the restaurants were lovely and it was a very family friendly hotel, but with that being said I wouldn’t reccomend for people not travelling with young children.
There was a significant issue with our bill, that I have never encountered in any other 5 star property. Also our room ( non smoking!!!) STUNK of smoke, the rooms are under par for a six senses property and need some investment. But the main issue was the cigarette smell which was so appalling I could barely sleep. It should never have been handed over in that state.
