Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel. The location is very convenient and strategic, and it is easily reachable by bus from the airport. The surrounding area is nice and lively, with plenty of restaurants, although many are quite tourist-oriented.

I would not recommend coming by car, as the streets leading to the hotel are very narrow and difficult to navigate. I had also understood that parking would cost €15 per night, but it was actually €20. Not to mention the daily ZTL tax to the city of Palermo (~roughly 5 EUR per day).
Housekeeping could be improved, especially regarding towel changes, which were quite infrequent. However, whenever we asked the staff for something, they were always kind and helpful.
The walls are a little thin, so you can sometimes hear people in the corridor, but this was not really an issue for us
