Après 16 jours à Aviedale Suite, nous serions bien restés. Le logement est petit comme indiqué dans l'annonce, mais plus confortable qu'il ne paraît sur les photos. La chambre est spacieuse et ont y dort vraiment bien. De multiples attentions font que le séjour est pratique dans tous les sens du terme. Pas de vue du logement mais de superbes panoramas du jardin et du parking promettant des levers de soleil magiques. À notre arrivée, les huîtriers nous ont accueillis et ont chanté durant tout notre séjour. De la location, une belle balade à pied mène à une plage ainsi qu'à un ancien cimetière (vers la gauche) avec une chapelle en ruine recouverte de lichen. L'emplacement est idéal pour parcourir Mainland ainsi que les îles autour. Un bon conseil surtout, allez à l'épicerie de Finstown à moins de 10 minutes du logement pour y trouver d'excellents produits locaux comme du pain frais, des gâteaux avec le beremeal, des bières brassée à côté, du beurre et des fromages fermiers, des fudges... Les Orcades sont magiques et nous repartons émerveillé, cette location est bienvenue pour un magnifique séjour.

Location was beautiful and surrounded by bird life - hares, curlews. Thoughtfully kitted out - warm on windy days - v comfortable bed room and bathroom. Lovely walks from the house - maps provided - outdoor seating area with great views. Dedicated parking.
Kitchen/sitting room combined - not comfortable for sitting and faced the back. Problem with statutory smoke alarm created anxiety about cooking (but microwave fine.) No face to face contact with any staff except at the end of my week stay .

Good location.
Comfortable bed.
Nice decor.
No oven and a incomfortable settee. The multiple signs in the property on what not to do & the wording of the many rules made us feel unwelcome. We usually experience excellent hospitality on Orkney.
