This place is wonderful. We had never considered staying at a campground but don't let that fool you. This is a well established neighborhood, with a huge community pool, laundry room, and wonderful neighbors. The location is walkable distance to a Publix and other shopping. The property is plenty of room for a couple or family with easy access to the canal and beaches. John Pennekamp SP is just down the road. The hostess Betty is WONDERFUL and provided us with great information for outdoor sports and places to dine. I highly recommend renting this one! Thank you for a wonderful time Betty!

What a great place to stay! We absolutely loved this place. I sure hope it is available for our next trip.
We brought our boat with us and I can’t tell you how nice it is to have it right off the deck where you stay.
Oh and tell Betty I sent ya, she was great!

A gem to be enjoyed. Very well organized campground facility, the property itself was spotless, comfortable, and well stocked with convenience items. The atmosphere tropical, quiet, great for dining outside or just reading a book on the deck under a nice tiki hut. Enjoyed using our boat throughout mangroves to ocean.

We had an outstanding time at Betty’s Bungalow!! She was helpful and attentive to any questions or concerns. The location was central to a number of great restaurants and attractions like John Pennekamp State Park, the Diving Museum and Treasures of the Sea. We loved walking down the street to the beaches and sitting on the back dock enjoying the view. It was a much needed, relaxing vacation!!

Betty was an absolute sweetheart, communication was great, place was clean and the park was nice and quiet. Highly recommend for small groups looking to get away. Close access to groceries, waterfront tiki hut was just what was needed.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and in a quiet spot. The tiki hut was a very nice spot to park the boat, just outside the back door. Betty was very helpful and accommodating. Short trip to molasses reef from this spot.

The property was exactly as described and pictured. Betty was incredibly helpful and provide a wealth of information prior to our arrival. We loved the cottage, it was clean and well maintained. We thought it was more than enough for the 2 of us and a family of 3 or 4 would find it perfect as well. As with many things, the best part was the location. We brought our center console boat and loved the ability to have it tied up right out of the back door. The access to John Pennekamp Corral Reef State Park was unprecedented. We were in open water within minutes and snorkeling the reefs just a few miles later. Having Publix down the street was a plus. We will be back again for sure. This is by far, one of the best vacations we have ever taken and Betty and her cottage was a huge part of that. Thank you Betty.

Had a great vacation at Betty’s cottage. The location was very convenient and we really enjoyed having our boat right outside at the dock. Easy ride to the ocean or bayside. The cottage was clean and had all the essentials. We would stay here again.

Great Key Largo Vacation
Another great stay at this waterfront site and brought my parents along this time. The mobile home was just as comfortable as last year. Had a great time fishing from the dock, relaxing by the water and swimming in the community pool, when we weren’t out and about. Love having Publix down the street too. It was a nice mellow vacation and Betty is always so helpful with great recommendations for restaurants and where to see the best sunsets. Can’t wait to reserve another week.

Nothing better than having your boat right outside your lodging then relaxing under the tiki hut upon return. The comfy beds allowed us to recharge and do it all over again the next day.

Perfect Spot
The property was exactly as pictured, super cute spot. Great location. 10 minute boat ride out to the ocean. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time, we played shuffleboard in the evenings and boated and swam in the canal during the day. Betty was extremely helpful with lots of tips on local adventures. Neighbors were kind and campground staff were friendly. We would definitely visit again.

There is an abundance of wildlife in the protected waters nearby. Excellent kayaking/boating available just down the canal to the ocean/John Pennycamp State Park.
The campground offers a lot of amenities ie. swimming pool, shuffle board, volleyball, pool table etc.
We would definitely stay here again!

Great Place to Stay in Key Largo
This cottage was clean, neat, and well maintained. It was right on the water and close to a beach which was really nice. The property mangers and property owners were friendly, polite, and attentive to my needs. I really enjoyed my stay.

The cottage is located within the Key Largo Kampground (KLK). KLK is well kept, clean and quiet at night. The cottage is on the tidal canal so the water is not stagnant. There is room to park one vehicle at the cottage, The 2 queen-sized beds were comfortable. The bathroom is on the small side, but good water pressure in the shower and the toilet handles solid waste well.
The kitchen was well equipped. There is an ice maker in the freezer. Electric 4-burner stove and small oven worked OK. Plenty of dishes, glasses, etc.
Out back, there is a very nice deck/dock with good seating and a very nice gas grill. The TV's worked well. Cooling is by two mini-split units, one upstairs, one on lower level. They worked well until the one on the lower level broke 2 days before checkout. Multiple ceiling fans in the cottage.
The cottage has an upper level and a lower "bump-out" level connected by two sets of wooden steps. There are grasp bars, but if you have any sort of mobility issue, this is not the cottage for you.
The best part of this unit is the outdoor space directly on the tidal canal. The worst part is the steps connecting the lower level of the unit to the upper level. Betty, the owner, was very nice and communicated well. My wife and I enjoyed our stay in her cottage. We felt safe in the gated campground, had very nice next door neighbors. Everyone we met was very nice and friendly.

It was very easy communicating with the owner in regard to bringing our dog with us. We loved the property since it was located right on the water. Fantastic deck, well furnished & equipped. We used it as a beach cottage for 14 days. We would highly recommend this property and will be returning. Loved that it was right near a strip mall with a nice supermarket & other shops. Our dog loved laying out on the deck in the sunshine. Since it is located in a campground they had a heated swimming pool & laundromat that we took advantage of . Thank You Betty

Certainly, there isn’t enough space here, for a vivid, complete detailed review of our stay. It was a Christmas break trip with friends. The rental listing needs updated. The 70’s refurb’d single wide trailer, with an attached screened/vinyl room, which was divided into 2 rooms. The downstairs consisted of a bedroom & tv room; w/ a futon. The front door enters directly into the “downstairs bedroom “. walk thru to the tv room , that contains the futon & the back door, to the dock. It’s Cute. Small. Limited privacy. Best for a group, that already resides together. Due to getting to the bathroom; You must go thru the “upstairs “ bedroom OR thru the “downstairs” tv/ futon area. & the bedroom.& up 3 steps. Awkward. Especially, in the middle of the night. It was said, “this is a true test of our friendship”. Listed as “ just 3 steps” up/down. However; Steep. Difficult w/ my neuro / leg weakness problem. w/ just the Grab bar (not a railing). The grab bar was mounted on the side of the structure & not reachable from floor. We found, The local “campercondo residents” must have been amusing themselves by complaining about the vacation renters OR they simply do not want “outsiders” to enjoy themselves ;ie: yelling at our teenager for fishing in the waterway ; “those fish are mine; I feed them”, to walking back to our dock, to complain about a small alcohol fuel, low flame table top fire pit(to minimize bugs) “would burn the entire park down”; despite, 4 sites down, a local resident had an actual wood fueled open fire. Our “fire” was out with a simple act of blowing out a candle/ a fish light facing down into the water, “was blinding” from across the waterway. We 4 adults (over 40) & 17 yr old; all inside by 9 pm. The list of provided supply items was scarce. Never found, the listed ironing board/ iron & washing machine. We determined it meant to use the community coin operated machine down at the dock bath house. Fortunately, I brought cookware, utensils, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, scrub brush, TP, linens, towels. We decided to purchased paper plates, & cups after finding dirty, dishes in the cabinet. The house cookware was beyond used; with the Teflon scraping off. Despite numerous frustrations & disappointments; (one leaving early), we did create Christmas memories, kayaking, fishing & swimming, in The Keys.(the saltwater pool is great).Betty was helpful, (return shipping)when one of my guest left behind her travel bag with her medications.
