The place is just like it looks in the pictures.. an elegant chateau. Rooms in the nearby buildings, also very elegant. The rooms are quaintly decorated …character rather than chic but a wonderful experience. Run by two delightful sisters, little English spoken but eager to ensure we were comfortable and able to enjoy the lovely salon and grounds of which they were rightly proud. Very warm and friendly. Ice cold water on arrival. Very hot while we were there and no AC or even fans but high ceilings meant opening a door was enough to keep room comfortable. Basic bathroom but in keeping with a truly historic setting. Lovely dining room for breakfast
Maybe a better shower.. our 2 rooms shared one bathroom accessed via our room and one toilet, separate and between the two rooms but it is a very old building, not a purpose built hotel. Otherwise a really special experience

El lugar precioso, y el desayuno y amabilidad de la anfitriona.
La puerta de la estancia no cerraba, no hay carretera asfaltada para acceder si no que hay una pista, y solo hablan francés muy cerrado. Cobertura deficiente y la wifi que proveen no funciona.

L’environnement est sympathique (calme et silence absolus). Nous avons même vu une chouette le soir. L’accès au cours de tennis est un plus. La chambre est vaste et de plain pied. L’hôte fait tout pour qu’on se sente bien.
On n’est pas du tout dans le château mais dans une aile plus récente (années 60-70 je dirais) et sans vraiment de charme. On est plus sur un logement « vieillot » (voire désuet et à rafraîchir) que sur une ambiance « nuit au château », du coup c’est cher pour ce que c’est. Petit dej bien, sans plus. Aucun restau ni commerces à proximité. La chambre mériterait un mini frigo et l’accès à un micro-ondes ou a minima une bouilloire en dépannage car, vraiment, il n’y a rien à moins de 15 minutes de voiture.
