In Guillim, one of the most beautiful places on God's Earth. Exceptional welcome. Value for money and clearly a favourite of people around the world.
The mirror in the bathroom was too low to be useful - I seldom need to shave my navel.

The staff is so kind, they gave us tea and food at the check-in and also at the check out (banana, water and tissues). The position is 15 minutes by car from the city center but I appreciated the calm and quiet place (which is needed in China)

We loved our stay here. We were so well looked after and so happy we booked this place. We stayed here towards the end of our China trip and we were pretty exhausted by then, so really appreciated the kindness and care offered by our hosts. They gave us so much help with all sorts of little things that we were struggling with like our apps. And we were given mountains of watermelon to eat. Having all our laundry done was amazing! The rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was really tasty (fruit, yoghurt and choice of western or Asian) and the evening meal we had was good too.
We did a couple of excursions from here, both were good - and the Longji rice terraces trip was a highlight of the holiday. The guide was super helpful, he tailored the day around what we were most interested in doing and after quite a lot of walking in the hot sun we had a lovely coffee at a cafe in the river, soaking our tired feet.
