Room was clean and functional That is about the only thing I can say positive about our stay.
Never saw any staff. Just call for instructions and that was only to tell us what room with key in door. Room extremely basic with no amenities to speak of. Toiletries were 2 small plastic packages of shampoo/body wash that were not sufficient for 2 people. No drinking glasses, cups or kettle in room and, though they had a kitchen, it was made clear we were not allowed to use it except for dinner for extra 1000 ISK. Did not feel comfortable or welcome at all really.

Quality furnishings
Not permitted to use the kitchen to eat our yoghurt for breakfast, according to the signs. I felt guilty just using a glass of water for a pill. No coffee on offer.
