Beautiful and cosy guest house

Everything about this guest house was lovely. It was in a perfect location during my road trip, only 10 mins off the main highway, in the middle of a beautiful farm. A huge fully stocked kitchen that guests can use, super clean and beautifully decorated. I felt at home there. Room was minimal and convenient. I didnt use the breakfast but i looked at the buffet and it has everything you would want.

Very quiet place, friendly horses, the best comfy beds I ever had in this trip, so I slept fantastic. Nice, modern restrooms.

Too simple room for this kind of price, DVD wasn't working. You do not alowded use the kichen all the time (in the morning). Breakfast and basics as a shower gel, shampoon, condicioner not included. Shated kichen was half kichen, half office in the same time.

Would have loved an extra day here.

The view was amazing - ocean in one direction and glacier in the other; kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/dishes; very simple but effective floorplan; loved having coffee on the deck in the morning.

Nice house with great atmosphere

Good sized room and bathroom

They didn’t serve breakfast until 1.May, which we didn’t realise until we arrived, and hosts’ general communication style was a little curt.

Excellent stay with comfy room and possible Aurora sightings

Quiet area and comfortable bed. Perfect location for Aurora sightings- we saw one !

A little far off from main road and I suppose getting to shops can be a little inconvenient. I also wish breakfast is offered throughout the year and not on specific months only. The dining room is perfect to enjoy a good breakfast so it’s a shame we didn’t get to do just that.

Very cosy and only place we saw the Northern Lights!

Very cute stay! We traveled around the entire ring road over a two week period, and this was the only place that we saw the Northern Lights! The kitchen was area was great and had plenty of things to make cooking your own food easy. Great stay for a great price!

The place is just wonderful! Quiet and lovely area. The house is really cute. Kitchen is well equiped. Kitchen and bathroom is super clean. Communication is easy. We would definitely choose it again! Loved it!

Staff was very nice, breakfast and the option to make tea at night was great. Check in/out was very smooth.

The shower ended up getting water all over the bathroom floor no matter how hard we tried to block it with shower curtain and mat

Very satisfied

Nicely decorated room with relaxing view on the countryside, excellent breakfast with pancakes. We drove there directly from the airport to be ready to discover the south coast. Close to the departure of buses to Thorsmork. I recommend it!!!

Very peaceful place. Rooms and shared bathroom were cosy and clean. The person who welcomed us was very nice. Well equipped kitchen and the breakfast was pretty basic except that you can make waffles which is awesome. Perfect place if you want to get in the middle of nowhere without being to far from the main road.

I don't see why twin beds is not an option, because the mattress is in fact two single ones zipped together. Would be more practical if there were a toilet outside of the shared bathroom. Also, after seeing the photos we thought the place would be more like a farm with sheep and horses but unfortunately we jumped to conclusions (I know they're everywhere in Iceland, but too far in this case)
