Surprisingly it was pretty comfortable to sleep in the property. Location was pretty ok, 3-4 bus stops from city center. Good infrastructure around.
From our perspective, the apartment is overpriced. A realistic rating would be between 5 and 6.
We were not satisfied that the flat was not properly cleaned before our arrival; the bathroom bin had not been emptied and still contained rubbish, likely from previous guests. We also found it odd that there were two reading lamps by the bed, but neither had a light bulb.
In addition, the bathroom door had no lock, and it did not open or close smoothly, as it was rubbing against the floor, which was somewhat annoying.
We also could not figure out how the washing machine works, as both times the clothes came out dry and still dirty. It seemed that no water was entering the machine, even though we tried adjusting the valve to see if that would help.
On top of that, we noticed a discrepancy in the city tax between what was calculated by Booking and what was stated in the host’s welcome message. Of course, we paid the higher amount.
Finally, we found it a bit unusual that the host was very welcoming at the beginning and encouraged us to contact him via WhatsApp if needed, but later only replied on the last day. In practice, we were only able to reach him by phone rather than by text. While not a major issue on its own, all of these points together left a disappointing impression, and we are unlikely to return to the same apartment.
