Perfect for what we needed. We were around the back of the pub through the beer garden and honestly couldn't complain. Staff lovely. Very comfy. Yeah its small but everything we needed.

Very clean and comfortable room. The staff were friendly and the check-in was easy. Secure parking for free. Good access to Sheffield by bus or car. A very practical and comfortable place to stay for a night. Very good value for the area.

Location was convenient. The staff member who welcomed me was very nice.
There isn't any bed side tables. Nowhere to put a phone, glasses, book etc. The floor was the only surface available. It was heavily raining and the drainage is poor. When I tried to get into my room there was a cascade of water due to poorly fitted drainage pipes. I had to walk through the waterfall to get to my room. I would never stay there with my wife as the room was just too small and there was only the flloor to use as a surface which I think is short-sighted and amateur. I wouldn't have wanted to eat there as the atmosphere was too local. The sort of place where you get stared at as soon as you walk in. A few enquiries to local people revealed that this pub is very regarded as very much a pub for locals who don't welcome strangers. This is no good in a pub that offers accommodation.
