Friendly and welcoming staff with quick, easy check-in.
We were able to choose our room and opted for a ground floor room as it was much cooler than upstairs.
Great location within walking distance of the town centre.
Despite the hotel advertising limited parking, we had no trouble finding a space.
The downstairs hallway regularly smelt of cigarette smoke, and outside the room next to ours there was a strong smell of plug-in air fresheners, which seemed to be masking the smoke smell.
Although the room looked clean at first glance, we found several stains on the carpet, stained towels, and heavily stained pillows underneath the clean pillowcases.
There was a strong sewage/damp smell coming from the bathroom drain throughout the night.
The wet room looked tired and in need of a deep clean and some maintenance.
The room only had blinds instead of curtains. As it was so hot we had to leave the windows open, but the blinds constantly banged against the windows and let in a lot of daylight early in the morning, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
