kid-friendly, very near the beach, pool
airconditioning is connected to the main switch , meaning going out would turn the aircondition off, meaning you'll get back in to a warm room after being under the heat whole day already and wait until it gets cold again (which is fast by the way) so not really a problem

Location is excellent. Parking was very useful.
Decor was basic (and we'd booked "deluxe" rooms); for example, there's a rail instead of a wardrobe and nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom. Some maintenance needed; a light fitting hanging off the wall, toilet roll holder missing from the bathroom, some mold in the shower cubicle. Breakfast was limited in variety and quality not great.
