TRAVEL AGENT MAGAZINE Of British origin, I founded my company ‘Pad A Terre’ in 1999 as an alternative to 4-5 star Paris hotels for a discerning clientele seeking more space for less yet no compromise on their usual standards of comfort. Our unique offer, consistent commitment to professional business practice standards and service, strict adherence to market regulations ensure us a nice position in the high-end segment of a mass Paris’s vacation rental sector. Partnership with Homeaway/VRBO since 2003. We are a French Registered company. All properties covered by the PARIS TOWN HALL VACATION RENTAL LICENCE (a legal requirement in Paris). I personally own all apartments within our portfolio. We are not an agency that makes money out of commissions that you pay. We operate on an owner direct basis. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ “The Louvre apartment, as the name suggests is a stone’s throw from Paris’ most famous art gallery.” THE INDEPENDENT ON SUNDAY (UK) The apartment is located in the heart of historical Paris.  The penthouse of a 17th Century timbered building, it comprises a drawing room with dining area, master bedroom, 2nd bedroom and fully equipped separate kitchen.   Arranged over three floors, it very much has the feel of a private house.  The apartment can sleep up to 7 people (5 beds). “The apartment has been sumptuously decorated and restored sympathetically keeping all of its original beams and charming historic touches”. TRAVEL AGENT MAGAZINE An original 17th century wooden staircase leads up to the living areas, beamed drawing room (elegant 18th Century mirror) and separate kitchen: fully equipped, Siemens high-end oven, Miele washer/drier. All utensils are provided to ensure the most enthusiastic chefs amongst you can eat in if you choose A second staircase leads up to the 2 bedrooms, and Philippe Starck designer bathroom (installed 2015).  The bedroom's skylight (blackout blinds for restful sleep) offers views of the neighbouring St. Eustache Church.  Solid bleached oak parquet flooring throughout. “The property is bright, well appointed and fully equipped with all the modern comforts”. TRAVEL AGENT MAGAZINE My business objective remains the same since 1999: to create comfortable accommodations, on a par with elegant boutique hotels, in enviable locations, that offer excellent value for money. All bed and bath linens of the highest quality of Egyptian cotton. Beds offer the highest level of comfort. “You will appreciate the chance to live like locals in authentic neighbourhood settings”. THE INDEPENDENT ON SUNDAY (UK) You will love exploring the area’s fabulous outdoor produce markets (in the rue Montmartre, Thursdays, Sundays), artisanal boutiques, troving the epicurean riches while shopping the French way. The area is jam packed with fantastic restaurants and cafés. ‘Le Comptoir de la Gastronomie’ serves the best foie gras ravioli you will ever have. At least according to VOGUE MAGAZINE, and me! A stone's throw from the Louvre and the Seine, you cannot beat the central location of the apartment. The neighbouring pedestrian Quartier Montorgueil embodies the essence of authentic Parisian life. One of the capital's most colourful market streets. We have featured in many leading international publication over the years: THE BOSTON GLOBE (USA) “Pad A Terre offerings make you want to pack up and move to Paris immediately.” THE INDEPENDENT ON SUNDAY “Immerse yourself in Parisian chic in Pad A Terre’s ‘Louvre’ bolt-hole. We all really enjoyed this place. There is no elevator but the building is charming, you really feel Parisian - narrow but nice staircase - beams, carpet, beams. Well equipped and in a fanstastic neighborhood. That made seeing the attractions easy. James and his staff at Pad A Terre were easy to deal with and super helpful. We’d definitely return!

A few of us popped over for work. This worked well to allow us all to be together to brainstorm around the couple of meetings we had. Oh, and to go out to a great restaurant round the corner. Great location and flat.

The location is outstanding. A really authentic Paris apartment with no lift. This but added to its charm - beams, a true history feel. …We all enjoyed it and would like to come back

Lovely apartment. Perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Paris the location is perfect for tourists. We walked everywhere! The local café knew us by the time we left, we got great pizza down the road and the bakery opposite was our go to! The grocery is close and very well stocked. James from Pad A Terre was great at giving us tips on everything from where to eat or what to visit off the beaten path. We did a private tour of the Louvre (worth it!) and visited a couple of unheard of (to us) librairies. Used the car service and we highly recommend them! Prompt and clean auto’s. Thank you James for sharing your apartment! We hope to come back soon
