It is not a typical hotel and given the history of the building there is a lot of religious iconography throughout. We are not religious ourselves but we found it calming and tranquil. We had a really comfortable simple room with a luxurious bathroom. Our room also had a stunning view over the gorge. The breakfast was really good.
It is in the perfect location to explore Cuenca's old town.
We aboslutely loved Cuenca which combines breathtaking scenery and magnificent buildings. There is also the most wonderful art gallery showing some of Spain's leading abstract artists. I can't pretend that I understood too much of the art on the walls but the way it was displayed and the building it was located in made it a really memorable experience.

Very good location to visit Cuenca , nice staff and close to info tourist office where everything to see is close by .

The hotel was clean, in a great location, right outside the plaza mayor, and quiet. Perfect stay for 2 days. Breakfast was excellent. The people at the front desk were kind and very helpful. I would recommend and would stay here again.
Maybe a tour of the property. Other than that nothing negative to say.
