gute Lage - hoher Preis- renovierungsbedürfrig

sehr gute Lage - direkt im Zentrum jedoch auch sehr laut nachts

das Apartment - nr .304 - war groß jedoch sehr abgewohnt - das Bad war ein behinderten gerechtes Bad und total abgewohnt und irgendwie schmuddelig - es roch sehr nach Urin

Superb

The location is perfect, and the neighborhood is safe. Easy check-in at any hour. The apartment was clean, and the beds were pretty comfortable (even the sofa turned into a bed).

The apartment was clean, but it was an awful smell from the bathroom coming from the drainage, and we couldn't escape that smell even by keeping the windows open all day. Although there was a washing machine, there was no clothes dryer. Also, the sofa was not exactly clean, this being hidden with a blanket.

Read the small print!

You would go a long way to find a better location. Shops, restaurants, Metro, all within 5 minute walk. Bedrooms very comfortable and bathrooms finished to a high spec.

When we booked the apartment, the picture that appeared gave the impression there was an outside terrace with the apartment. That was not the case and whilst the bedrooms and bathrooms were to a very high standard the living/kitchen area was dark with one window opening onto a ventilation shaft.

Enormous apartment in a fantastic location

Huge apartment, comfortable bed and sofa, nicely insulated against noise, in one of the best/liveliest areas of Madrid

There were a couple of places where the apartment needed a bit of repair, but nothing major. The HVAC system was difficult to navigate

Excellent Fuencarral apartment for 5 nights

This very nice apartment has good spaces and balcony doors to watch the street action below. Fourth floor was an advantage as it can be noisy at night, especially weekends. Loved the hotel reception nearby. Good kitchen equipment but no oil, salt etc. Good lift, card access and easy to use appliances. Effective aircon.

The look doesn’t quite match the stylish pictures and the apartment could use some attention to keep improving it aesthetically and to have some maintenance done.

Great apartment in a great location

Great spot - it felt like you were in 'real' Madrid but still only a 10 minute walk from the centre. The apartment was big, well furnished and comfortable and just around the corner was an open all hours mini-market (Eroski), so basics covered. Calle de Fuencarral was bustling with cafes and shops and as an arterial road into the centre, made getting about very easy. Reception staff were all really helpful.

Location and room were very good however I stayed there at the beginning and end of my trip and 1st room was terrible. Room 406 Smelled like urine and instead of a 2nd bedroom 2 kids had to sleep on fold out couch. Upon returning the 2nd room was perfect. 2 bedrooms and clean

A clean and spacious apartment in great, central location.

The apartment was clean and spacious and in a great central location. The water and fresh fruit upon arrival were a lovely touch.

The downside of a central location is that it was quite noisy at night and well into the early hours of the morning.

Huge spacious apartment with all the amenities to make your stay feel like home. The bed was super comfy and the balcony has the perfect space to relax an unwind.

Good for money

The staff are very welcome and friendly. Located at the centre of the attractions. Near the Starbucks and some local cafes for a little breakfast. 300m from the metro station.

Very well located. Should be good for mid-long stays.

The apartment is a couple of buildings next to a hotel of the same group and it is there that they give you the keys. Location is well in downtown. It is a plus if that is what you are looking for. I was concerned it could be noisy, but it was not. Walking distance from shops, restaurants, metro stations. Location is one of the stars. The apartment itself is large. Large bathroom (no bidet, but it is an B&B thing). The living room was also spacious, and the sofa-bed was even more comfortable than the main room bed. It had a full kitchen and regfrigerator (that we did not use).

Could be cleaner. It had a strange smell in the hallways when you entered the apartment.

Great place for a central Madrid stay, friendly and helpful staff, nice apartment for a family.

Mostly everything was fine!

Shower drained quite slowly, so the water would quickly fill up the bottom and eventually leak outside. But worked fine otherwise, just more of a heads up and in case it can be fixed.

The location and the size of the apartment

More coffee and dishwasher's tabs would have been well accepted, especially if you are 4 and stay 3 days. We only got 3 capsules for the coffee machine and 1 tab for the dish washer

tatty and needing maintenance

The location is excellent, close to shopping on Fuencarral, nightlife in Chueca and a short walk to Madrids main attractions

sadly this place has gone down hill since we first stayed here several years ago. the apartment suffered from poor maintenance. there had clearly been a flood in the bathroom in the past, causing swelling and splitting of woodwork including the door and the skirting boards. the shower tray drains very slowly, causing an overflow onto the floor. there was black mould around the edge of the shower where it meets the tray. the sink tap has been replaced at some point and the new tap leans. there was a unpleasant stale/mouldy odour in the flat and the door didn’t lock properly. luckily the staff were able to fix the door locking problem. the landing on the first floor was full of unused furniture piled in a corner, unsightly, unsafe and probably a fire hazard. all in all we wouldn’t go back again

Superb

Everything, a very good location, the room was perfect and we slept very well. We highly recommend the place.

Because of the picture, We thought that we had a small terrasse or at less a balcony where we can sit down. Just a little bit disappointed.
