The location was excellent, the staff were amazing and the food was awesome.

We always stay at the "Top Pub" with our hosts Ursula and Tony, and always go for Room 2 which has the ensuite toilet and bathroom next door rather than further down the corridor. It was an overnighter for a function in Featherston, but the Bar menu is superb as is the beer selection. Calamari strips with lemon, and slow-cooked Irish stew with the lamb melting in one's mouth. Had breakfast at The Offering just down the road. We'll be back.

Great location. It's a historical pub with basic amenitires. Clean and comfortable.
Bathrooms are shared (I should have read the detail!). Quite basic.
