Authentic cave, beautiful view, private plunge pool, plenty of space. Enrik was awesome. He explained how to get around the city, great restaurants, must see places and great transport advice.

Wonderful cave hotel

Amazing cave hotel. Loved the private plunge pool with ocean views. A truly magical stay.

Could have used extra garbage bags in the kitchen and extra dish towel.

Wonderful stay at Aura Caves!

A very charming villa right in the heart of Santorini. We had a great view from our private rooftop balcony with private pool. The two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths was perfect for our family of four. It was a short walk to all the restaurants and main streets. Enrik was a great host and can help you with any reservations on the island that you might want. We would definitely recommend Aura Caves.

Superb

Loved the experience of staying in a cave.

Would have preferred the option to have had a roll out bed or a queen bed plus to single beds so my 2 teenage boys did not have to share a bed.

great but the bathroom issue and the air conditioning was only in the main room

unique cave was very cool

bathroom curtain looked moldy. black at the bottom. should be changed out. the air circulation is very difficult in a cave but is still a worry Easy fix. i did not complain on Booking.com

Good value gem of a place for a unique experience

Great experience to stay in a cave. We were in Passion and it was incredibly roomy. Our boys had their own room with its own bathroom and TV. The kitchen facilities were good and we made use of the seating areas and pool on the roof. Enrik could not have done more for us. He kept in touch via what's app and helped make the best of our stay by organising a trip and transport. The area was quiet but just a short walk either side of the cave to restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend this to others.

The shower pressure wasn't very good but we didn't think this was a big deal as we only stayed 3 nights.

Amazing stay

We loved our stay in a cave , it is a super great location with amazing view , it has everything you need to feel comfortable , their staff is really helpful and welcoming, definitely worth to stay there.

Just as advertised!

Aura Caves presented exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is close to the city center, great restaurant up the hill- Tholoto. Nice views at night. Staff- Enrik especially, friendly, helpful and very kind. Comfortable bed. Coffee maker, sugar, cups, utensils, etc.Private plunge pool on the roof( we never used it)

The shower pressure is very weak. The pillows a bit flat. Really, any problems we had with the place had more to do with me and my husband. We were trying to be cool and stay in a cave, but really, we like more comfort- on site restaurants and bar, room service, a full-size pool, etc. We are not going to hold that against the caves. I would say, it was a bit expensive, but again, it’s Santorini, everything is overpriced.

Fair stay overall

The location was good and the villa was clean. It was also a perfect size for our family of 5. They provided a crib for our toddler too.

On the website for Aura Cave it says mini bar stocked daily with refreshments and free transport to airport for 4 people but the host did not honor these promotions on that are listed on the website and didn’t offer a discount on the rate for not honoring these promotions. The host said they couldn’t stock the mini fridge because of COVID. We all know that COVID restrictions are going away and the villa we stayed in right down the road from this place provided a mini bar with stocked refreshments with the room so this is just a cop out for not wanting to restock the mini bar. There was no explanation for the free transport besides that they just didn’t provide it anymore. If it’s not provided anymore then the promotion should be removed from the website.

Adored staying here.

Absolutely unique cave / villa with some lovely touches ( slippers / gowns/ basic food items) Could have stayed for a month. Less than 5 mins from Main square of Fira . Plunge pool was just fab on the roof top.

Couldn’t fault it ! Just if any mobility issues, there is a short hilly walk up to the Main Street. Also WiFi is a bit hit & miss ( but it is a cave!)

loved it and would stay here again!

It was such a fun experience to live in this well appointed cave. It was super comfortable for 3 of us to stay in for 2 nights. The beds were cozy and the place that everything we needed. it was also easy to communicate with Enrique. he was able to arrange transfer for us from the port and to the airport. The location was perfect - walking distance to the main Fira attractions just be careful because there are no sidewalks anywhere and the streets are narrow. I'd highly recommend Aura Cave!

That we didn't stay long enough to use the pool it was more of a hot tub but it was nicely located on the roof of the cave with great views. Also no breakfast but lots of options close by.

Glad we got this place!

it’s a different experience staying in a cave house. The place is well kept and clean. It’s 5 to 7 mins walk to town but away fro the busyness of the town. We woke up early to have breakfast and see the sun rise by the pool. Enrik the host was very helpful and friendly! Great place with great location!

The pool is not heated so it’s a pity we couldn’t really enjoy it as it was still a bit too cold to soak.

Amazing stay in Fira

My mother and I loved this place as it has two separate bedrooms. The location was brilliant, the caves were amazing, and Enrik was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I cant recommend this highly enough. Wonderful.

EXQUISITE SANTORINI RENTAL

There are not enough words to describe the poise, character, and experience the Aura Caves has. Not only are the owners the nicest people you will ever meet but are so accompanying. They greeted us with Greek wine and Greek desserts, authentic Greece tea, In addition they allowed us to check in early for accommodation reasons and hold our bags so we can explore after we checked out. The owners have provided not only the best experience but the most beautiful, unique and spotless space to be staying while in santorini. They sat down with us when we arrived and provided us with a map and spoke in detail about the best places and what was/wasn’t worth seeing. I would recommend this place 100% and to be honest ONLY this place. It’s walking distance from the bus station that takes you everywhere in santorini and only 10 min walk from their huge downtown shopping area filled with restaurants etc.

Absolutely nothing. There is nothing NOT to like about this place. I travel all around the world and have never seen a more beautiful place like this. BOOK BOOK BOOK

Fantastic host, beautiful cave!

This was a beautiful cave property with a private pool. The host was wonderful, he even provided a birthday cake for my moms who was celebrating her 78th birthday. He arranged transportation for us, and even helped us arrange a tour, which was fantastic. He also loaned us a cell phone to use if we needed to get in touch with him during our stay. We absolutely loved our stay in Santorini!!

The WiFi was not great inside the cave, but that is to be expected.
