A former traditional Croft house, the house is very comfortable, well-equipped and located, particularly for beautiful nearby beaches and places of interest. The views from the house are lovely, and it is very peaceful.
We understand the nature of the communal sheep grazing, but found it unpleasant to have to constantly try to avoid sheep droppings on stepping out of the house or car - the front door mat was targeted on one occasion. It rendered the garden unusable, really. Inside, the rule about “no dogs beyond the kitchen” was really difficult as the door from the kitchen into the rest of the house did not latch. We adhered strictly to the rule, but because they could easily push the door open, one of us had to stay in the kitchen at all times in order to guard the door.

Beautiful kitchen with amazing views. Real fireplace in the living room. Modern shower room downstairs. Very close to beach for walking.

We loved everything about Valtos 23. It is a much loved home and oozes 'welcome' as soon a you walk through the door.
It had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay, games, jigsaw's and kitchen untensils we did not expect to find, but needed. Great views. A lovely community including the local sheep. We loved every minute and wish we had booked for longer.
The only thing we could not find was a hairdryer, but that in no way detractedfrom the wonderful stay we had.
