The extra traditional desserts at breakfast that were home cooked. Lovely swimming pool we enjoyed as the only ones there. Tuk tuk tour and massage arranged by Lucky the owner.

We liked Basically everything! It was so beautiful- the garden, the view from of the canal with birds and animals, the beautiful room and the amazing pool! We had a blast!
Nothing really. There was no wifi in the rooms but traveling with teenagers, it was actually a feature (they spent more time at the pool than on their phones)

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy much about this property.
The room was very basic, and we did not have hot water during our stay. Our son’s bed was very uncomfortable, and the sound insulation was very poor — we could hear all the outside noise, including trains passing nearby. There was also a party in the area during the night, which made the stay even more difficult, although this is not directly the hotel’s fault.
The swimming pool was very cloudy, and we did not feel comfortable using it.
We also found it disappointing that the hotel manager was not very friendly with our driver, which left a negative impression.
Overall, this was the place where we felt the least welcome during our entire stay in Sri Lanka.
