Super laatste verblijf voor we terugvlogen!

Het is zo mooi gedecoreerd, heel erg stijlvol. De schilderingen op de meubels, de houten borden bij de lampen, de deuren alles past zo goed bij elkaar. Echt goed over nagedacht. Ik zou het zo in ons eigen huis neerzetten ophangen. Geweldig. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en ook het personeel is erg behulpzaam. Deewa die ons bij het diner bediende deed ook zijn best. Je kan er Sri Lankaans en Westers eten. De eigenaar is in Italië geweest en deze invloeden zie je ook terug bij het eten. Er is een buiten oven om goede pizza’s te kunnen maken. Sybe bestelde zijn favoriete Sri Lankaans drankje Cream soda. Ze hadden deze niet maar de eigenaar ging speciaal voor Sybe het drankje halen. Echt super! We hebben lekker gegeten. De rustige muziek was erg fijn en zorgt voor een goede sfeer. Ook verkopen ze in het hotel mooie batik tassen, placemats die door de vrouw van de eigenaar gemaakt zijn. Erg mooi. We hebben ook een tas gekocht en mooie houten beeldjes En een beschilderd houten schilderijtje wat door een vriend van hun gemaakt is. Het is van kwaliteit en uniek. In de kamer - ook mooi gedecoreerd - was er een mogelijkheid om een handige klamboe systeem te laten installeren. Voor de zekerheid maar even gedaan. Heel handig, en zo weer op te bergen in de kast. Koffie thee voorzieningen op de kamer. Koelkastje. Er is overal over nagedacht. We moesten de volgende dag vroeg op en de eigenaar stelde voor het ontbijt voor ons ook mogelijk te maken en af te wijken van de gebruikelijke ontbijttijd. Take away is ook mogelijk maar we vonden iets eerder opstaan en aan een tafeltje ontbijten toch wel handiger. Top! We komen zeker terug!

Schöne Unterkunft in Negombo

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit großem Bad. Der Pool ist sehr sauber & läd zum verweilen ein. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr schön gestaltet. Das Personal ist stets hilfsbereit & freundlich.

Das Frühstück ist ziemlich wenig & das Omelett schmeckt nicht besonders.

Comfortable place to begin or to finish your stay in Sri Lanka.

Well decorated and spacious room for four. Nice staff and charming swimming pool. You can choose either traditional or continental breakfast. They let us stay till 13.00 with no charge to adjust better to our leaving plane.

Not a complain: they prefer cash but we could pay with euros.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful people, beautiful stay !

I loved everything. The room was sparkling clean and so beautifu and well decorated. Every corner is pretty. Attention to details like you imagine from a boutique hotel. It is even prettier than in the pictures. The best part is the staff, they took great care of me, they were simply adorable and genuinely kind. There is a swimming pool , the food is great and they can adapt things for you, the service excellent. Walking distance from the beach and all front beach restaurants bars and shops. Honestly I can only come back there and recommend this place. Thank you 🙏🏽

Unethical staff at reception

The place was clean and it had a backup generator during night power cuts.

The night person at the reception was vague and not helpful in arranging transport to the airport. He tried to capitalize on overpricing with his own transport. This was not ethical. The breakfast was scanty. Overpriced for location and value for money. Place can not be easily located. Try to stay closer to the main street near the beach.

A good hotel for transitioning and using main airport.

Staff support and willingness to offer help was impressive. Friendliness of the owner. Willingness to grant extension to room departure time without any hassle or contradiction. Fee asked for was very reasonable.

Decent hotel

We stayed with our two kids. The hotel is nice and decent. Very convenient and it's close to the international airport. We had a long flight and had to go for covid tests before we could check in. Hotel has a heritage decor. Food was great. The hotel staff was very helpful👍

The swimming pool had excessive chlorine.

The rooms were small but clean. Bed was large and comfy with mosquito net provided. Pool was nice. Many restaurants at the walking distance.

- Wifi was horrible!!!! Didn't work most of the time - Restaurant was overpriced and food average - Hidden charges (payment with card 3% extra)

Nice hotel with great pool!

Beautiful hotel in a good location 5 min walk from the beach. Lovely pool that has sun most of the day! Nice room with large balcony and fridge! Friendly staff - helped us get PCR for next destination and print some forms.

2 cockroaches found in our room at the beginning but once we got rid of those we didn’t see anymore so possibly when they’ve been cleaning the room and door left open. Quite a lot of ants coming from the plug socket in the bathroom but hotel provided bug spray that seemed to sort the problem but still not great.

Big disappointment. Much overpaid.

Acceptable comfort of beds.

Price to value on dramatic level. I’ve paid $95 per night. Comparing to other hotels I’ve visited when traveling through Lanka the maximum I should spent here should be no more than $40. Small rooms, disgusting breakfast, ugly, way from clean pool.

Good location, very cleanly kept hotel.

The location was peaceful. The hotel was very clean. Front desk manager and the gentleman providing room service was very helpful.

We were in town to attend a concert nearby. Our night was cut short when the security guard called at 12.30 AM and demanded that we come ASAP so that he could lock the gate. It would be completely fine if this was communicated to us beforehand. But it was not, and we were forced to end our holiday abruptly. Other than this single issue, everything else was completely satisfactory.

unfortunately it happened that I catched a covid19 Virus thus vaccinated. The people from hotel were not helping at all in this bad situation; before kicking me out they offered a quarantine-stay for the double price; this was a completely unethical, inhumane and exploited reaction to me; sad experience…

a great end to my trip , waiting for my flight whilst relaxing in the pool was great !

the staff where really helpful. I had an evening flight and I was allowed to check out and hang by the pool all day.
