I was in summer and had an economy single room. Very comfortable (no view on the Valley for this price, which is fair); , Small SPA included (not too useful in summer though). Friendly staff, good community rooms, deckchairs in garden, friendly staffs (among which many apprentices). The location at 2000m altitude is lonesome, ideal for those who search solitude. Good starting point for mountain hikes (all levels, from family to mountaneering). Good breakfast which was included.
The hotel restaurant is high-end and consequently expensive. The adjacent "Chalet" restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday, so the high-end was almost the only choice in this small village on those days.

What a great place. Having been climbing in the Alps for a week we arrived as four tired, dirty, dishevelled, and hungry men. Despite our apperance we were greeted with a wonderful reception. Wash, change and into hot tubs with cocktails – what could be better! Very friendly staff, everything was great and a very high standard of cuisine. We loved it. We will return.

Nice design. Good food, the chef can cook. Large bath-tub.
Welcome drink "Ice tea" - a glass of (simple) Wallis wine would be more appropriate.
No amenities in the room, except bottles of soap/shampoo and conditioner.
Hanging down razor mirror was not fixed throughout our stay and according to maid all rooms have the same problem.
Cold Raclette cheese for breakfast - not suitable for a breakfast buffet.
Choice of food in the restaurant is limited. No comfort food, no simple local fare such as fondue, roesti, raclette...For such food we had to drive 7,5km to St. Luc where there is a nice choice of restaurants and some shops.
