Hotel con encanto

Hotel antiguo que tiene todo el encanto de un b&b, y nuestra habitación era grande, y el baño con una ducha inmensa. Hay café y te en la cocina comun, asi como pan de molde, algun cereal y mantequilla y mermelada durante el dia, pero eso es el desayuno. Nevera comun que se puede usar, asi como microondas y zona de descanso. Te ayudan con el equipaje Parque enfrente muy animado Parque a 5 minutos, los viernes zona familiar con conciertos y puestos de comida y los sabados por la mañana mercado. Terraza desde las 10/20 pm en la zona de guests, muy chula y tranquila

Está encima de un bar/ bistro con zona de juego ( prohibida entrada a menores de 18) , por lo que si llegas fuera de horario diurno no está claro por donde tienes que entrar con un peque, no ascensor. Lejos de la zona central, comunicación dificultosa segun horas, pero bus enfrente para ir a Manly beach. A las 8:30 de la mañana que no tengan pan o mermelada , y que nadie reponga hasta las 10. Tren 20 minutos andando Supermercado grande a 15-20 minutos caminando Tienda de licor en la parte de atrás Poco preparado para peques, pero personal miy amable

Comfortable, well located quiet ensuite room above a nice pub, with friendly staff.

great central location, comfortable, spotlessly clean, first floor of a nice pub, very quiet. Friendly staff at the pub. Adequate help yourself breakfast. easy check in and check out, had a nice evening meal in the pub

All good, except could not find the iron and ironing board ? Not really suitable for car parking with 2 hour day time limit in the surrounding street. s

Modern old world charm, clean and spacious rooms and bathroom with basic breakfast included.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. I loved that each room had a feature wall of wall paper and the scatter pillows were matching. Very nicely presented. The share bathroom was lovely old world charm with the claw footed bath. Breakfast was basic cereal and toast. But the kitchen was always open. Nice to get a cup of tea and toast before settling for bed. The lounge area off the kitchen was well decorated and cosy.

enjoyable short stay in Sydney

it has been beautifully redecorated - love the colours, matching wallpaper and pillows. bathroom is brand new. breakfast was basic but still nice - do it yourself - still a good coffee and decent bread and cereal. good location, local bus stop right outside.

Superb

Quiet and quaint. My little kids and I really enjoyed it. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The place was really clean. Nice location; close to lots of cafes and just a short walk to the busy city center. We would definitely stay there again.

No fridge in our room, but there is a communal fridge. Our room was small but very pleasant.

Exceptional

I loved the accommodation's aesthetics, the shared kitchen set-up, the vibe and the cleanliness. I loved the menu options downstairs in the pub too.

The parking that I had booked and paid for was non-existent. This caused me to have to park in Artarmon and catch a train back!! This was really annoying and inconvenient, particularly as it was raining. If I had known there was no parking I would have travelled by train to Nth Sydney instead of driving. The hotel happily refunded me the parking costs I had paid, however and I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to others.

Very good

We, loved the decor in the bedroom and we also loved the kitchen/dining lounge decor. Loads of books to read and enjoy and lovely big windows in the lounge area. The bedroom was very quiet even though the pub was very busy. It was opposite the North Sydney Oval, Nice walk through the park, gives you an amazing view of the Sydney Harbour. Also not to far from the train station, easy to walk. All in all we would love to stay again.

Booking.com quotes two prices when actually there is only one. Quotes a room price and a room with breakfast price. A basic breakfast is complimentary in the room price.

perfect location and the room was beautifully restored. Incredibly quiet and the communal kitchen was well equiped for a short or a long stay🚽.

only two very thin pillows and some mould in the shower but both very minor issues

A value for money option to staying in the CBD in a nice location opposite the park.

Small but comfortable room with spacious ensuite. Nice bistro downstairs and very low noise level in the room. Adjacent to bus stop.

Maybe an insect screen on the window.

Exceptional

Great value for money, central location. Bed and room were both very comfy, shower pressure was AMAZING. Included breakfast was a huge bonus with everything you need. All facilities were faultless. Noise from downstairs pub was VERY minimal. Staff friendly and welcoming.

the motel sits in a very good location with cafes one street down. Bus stops r outside of the hotel. Room is super cozy

Great pub to stay at! Would happily stay there again, if there was a need.

Probably one of the best pubs we have stayed in. Atheistically pleasing, has a great local pub vibe. Food was also amazing!

We were downstairs at the pub from about 10am to 4pm. The air freshener fragrance was a bit over powering after a while.

On the eve of winter and a cold blast in Sydney . The heating wasn’t working in my room. No blanket in the cupboard which made for a chilly nights sleep.
