Chris and Lin are great hosts, and the location is an easy walk into Wanaka. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed having time to talk to the hosts about local sites, etc. They went above and beyond with extra touches to make things comfortable.
We enjoyed that this is a true B&B experience, but just be aware that you should be comfortable staying in someone's home. You have complete privacy when you want it.

Review:
I stayed at Tempest in Wanaka. Check-in was smooth and payment on arrival was convenient. The property offers individual parking, which was very handy. The hosts were warm and welcoming.
The room was spacious and well appointed with most amenities provided. Tea, water and cookies were available, and breakfast was included. Breakfast featured fresh croissants, homemade breads with marmalades, and granola with milk and yoghurt — all tasty and satisfying.
On the downside, the room’s small 1-ton heater/AC struggled to heat/cool the space effectively, and the bed was a bit too soft for my preference. Overall a pleasant stay and good value for a 3-star accommodation.

Very close to Town Center. Large room, very comfortable beds, clean bathroom, Chris and Lin were helpful hosts. Onsite parking.
