It’s a place that has history and the owners are proud to display it.
The staff is very polite, unobtrusive, friendly, welcoming.
Easy access to the Concubine lane and museums, lots of food options around
The street that seemed empty during the day suddenly became loud and noisy right when we went to sleep. Cars revving with engines, fireworks on the occasion of the Chinese new year. At 8am on Sunday the shop across the street started playing loud music. There’s nothing the hotel can do about it, we were just unlucky probably.

All the top attractions are in the walking distance. Very clean, just park the car at the entrance. We can walk or take grab for sightseeing. There are many chinese and indian food eateries nearby.
Just the rooms are very basic, accomodating for 1 night stay or we don't stay much time in the room just to refreshing up and sleep then it's a great place.
