Very comfortable and everything you need.staff very attentive. Very close to little Adam’s peak.
Just paid $50USD a night for a great place in Kandy so seemed very expensive in comparison. Perhaps that’s Ella price for you? Also construction going on across the road is noisy during the day. No pressure in the shower.

My goodness. This property is AMAZING! Dom your host has thought of everything. Yoga mat, hammock, sewing kit, bottle openers and cutlery etc, q-tips, nail clippers etc. Even two umbrellas waiting at the door for the wet season. Power points take all plug types as he fitted multi adaptors
The location is amazing. Downtown Ella is full of tourists and best busy… think Bali vibes. Coming to this area is like going to Ubud. Further up and quiet. At the beginning of the walk to Little Adam’s peak as well as the walk to the nine arches bridge. Don’t need transport to see either. If you make it in time the pool club is also walking distance.
Dom recommended cafe eden for dinner and it was amazing. The BEST Lamprais I had on the trip.
His breakfast also amazing. I’d eaten a lot of Sri Lankan food so went a little more western and his poached eggs were perfect.
Only 2 rooms so need to book far out. It’s expensive for Ella but to be able to walk to everything as well as a hammock to lay in for sunset with sensational views. Worth it!!
Being at the start of the wall up to the peak etc means dogs barking from 5am and tuk tuk’s going past as people head up for sunrise. That is the flip side of the location. So if you’re not planning on getting up early play white noice or wear earplugs.

We loved our stay at The One Ella! The views over the valley are just stunning and the location is perfect as its within walking distance to Little Adam's Peak, restaurants and a Tuk Tuk if needed.The accommodation is spotless, private and modern. The room has everything you could need including cold beers in the fridge. It is very well designed making it the most comfortable stay we have had so far. The host made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was good. Dom's parting gift of fruit, biscuits and extra water was just one of the personal touches that made our stay so special. Thank you Dom and family.

Dom was an excellent host, are room was perfect. Our breakfast was delicious and so much variety. He even provided us with provisions for the drive to Galle.
Lastly, the view from our room was spectacular.
Nothing, everything about our stay was beyond our expectation.
