Though outside the city of Salzburg it was conveniently located at the end of the no. 4 bus line that takes you to the center of the city. Also, the hotel provided free all day bus pass for the duration of your stay
A bit remote, but we had our own car and the public transport system is very good

The location is very convenient for parking our car and taking the bus into Salzburg. However, it is located adjacent to an industrial area. If you arrive from behind the building, the first impression is not great. I would STRONGLY recommend some greenery behind the building to make it less stark.
The toilet seat was chipped and the hardware was rusty. It felt a bit run-down. The sink didn't have a stopper and the shower needed to be re-caulked. It was fine for the money we paid, but I wouldn't consider it a top tier hotel. The breakfast was nothing spectacular. Again, it was good for the price.

The room was comfortable and cosy.
The ac was not in the room, no coffee machine, no electric kettle, no tea, coffee etc, no shampoo and body wash. The basic needs should be in the room.
