The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our two-night stay. The hotel was perfectly adequate for our visit to Salzburg and had everything we needed. There was a bus stop right outside that takes you to the centre of salzburg (1/2 hour ride). The buses are regular until midnight and the hotel gave us a free pass.
The room was quite small and we found the traffic outside rather noisy. There was also no effective way to block out the light, as there were no proper blinds. Parking was an additional charge, which we hadn’t expected, and we felt the breakfast was quite expensive for what was offered. There was a reasonable selection and it was perfectly adequate, but compared with other hotels we’ve stayed in, it wasn’t anything exceptional.

The hotel was in a peaceful location with a lovely view of the mountains. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was decent. Good public transport links to the city center.
We had booked an accessible room for 3, and had confirmed the same multiple times (including by directly calling the hotel). However, when we got there, we were given a non-accessible room. We were then told that the accessible room would be ready the next day due to a mix up. The next day, we were told that the accessible room was only for 2, and therefore we would have to pay €160 extra (the cost of an additional room). We did this as we already were stressed and did not want to ruin our holiday, but we essentially paid extra when we already had booked a room for 3.
Furthermore, in the normal room, it was quite strange that the toilet was in a small separate room from the shower and washbasin and you have to dash across the room to wash your hands.
