Beds very comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Buses to Salzburg centre free and accessible.
I prefer a walk in shower rather than a bath shower but acceptable for a short time

Public transport is very close to the hotel, although it is not far to walk to the center. Salzburg now gives free public transport tickets if a tourist stays overnight. (All information on the tourist office website).
The room was quiet, on the third floor in the attic, a little harder to cool because there is no AC, and the window is such that it makes it impossible. Everything was very clean, except for the glass in the bathroom.
Wifi was OK.
Breakfast was a very good buffet, and you can also eat it on the pleasant terrace.
It is a pity that there was no refrigerator, coffee maker nor power socket by the bed in the room.

Breakfast was good and rooms were clean.
First room we were allocated was very poor. Hot, dark, very small, unable to sit straight on toilet as legs obstructed by sink housing, and I'm only 168cm tall! . We requested another room but were told by reception staff on three occasions that no rooms were available. Eventually the manager intervened and found us a better 'confort' room. We had booked months in advance so unsure why we were given such a poor room. Rooms are not air conditioned and so windows need to be left open at night attracting noisefrom main road. Visitors should also be aware that there is currently a major building project next door to and opposite the hotel, noisy work commences at 6.30 each morning. Some staff looked like they didn't want to be there, but manager was friendly. Visitors should ask for a confort room.
