After paying Booking.com, when I checked into the hotel they said that I had to pay at the property. So I had to pay again.

It was close to my work event
The check was horrible. The clerk put the information in wrong and it took over 30 minutes and me contacting booking customer service twice to get it fix. The first room they put me in was not clean and the second room stink of old cigarette smoke. Horrible experience.
