Great Weekend at the Americana

Great customer service. The front desk folks were super helpful and kind. It was 115 degrees Fahrenheit when we were there, and the ac worked well! The outside patio is nice.

I wish there was an area for dogs to run around and go potty.

It may have been the best hotel stay for my family of six.

Location, amenities and value!! Very friendly staff as well!

I mean, a pool would put it over the top. Aside from this, literally nothing.

Excellent accommodations and great location.

Great staff, wonderful hospitality, clean room, lots of amenities, ( microwave, mini fridge, toiletries, hair dryer), informative guidebook on the local area, and safe, secure location.

Will stay again at Americana modern

Did not partake of the breakfast......all good....was relatively quiet for a main street...was fine with me. Check in was simple and the staff was delightful.

Bathroom temperature was rather cold...main area heating system good.

Best pet-place in Redding

Great place to stay in Redding when traveling with a pet. It's close to anything you might need, including a self-wash pet salon, parks, and the walking path along the Sacramento River. The Americana staff are some of the best folks around. This is our go-to hotel in Redding!

Well, homes and hotels can always be cleaner, but I'm also a neat-freak.

Surprisingly nice hotel.

This is an old hotel that has been nicely rehabbed into the 21st century. All the fixtures and furniture are updated. My room had a comfy king bed, a large new TV, and a very nice bathroom. No problem bringing along my small dog. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. If you are overnighting in Redding, give this downtown hotel a try. Oh, and there's a Dutch Bros across the street and Heavenly Donuts on the next block.

Large and clean rooms made for a comfortable stay.

The staff was very attentive, the rooms were large and clean.

Wish there was a full size mirror in the room and another spot for someone else to get ready while the bathroom is being occupied. Also, the beds were very hard.

neighborhood was a little scary at night - lots of houseless people. dog friendly place but nowhere to take dog to do business on property and neighborhood was not great for walking dog past dark.

Nice "motel" in a bit of a busy and noisy location. Very clean, though.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean, bed pretty comfortable. Polished concrete floor was "interesting" but clean.

I'll ding the housekeeping staff for not reporting that the toilet seat was literally broken off! We slid around like a bucking bronco! They should've noticed it needed repair if they had cleaned properly. It was too late at night to report it to maintenance.

Great stay. Very nice staff and perfect location before a day fishing the Sacramento.

Well situated to walk to dinner and breakfast near by.

The bar next-door was a little loud, but we completely drowned it out by turning on the air-conditioner. I would stay there again as it wasn't that big a deal.

very friendly staff- appreciated the text ahead of checkin- honored request for no feather pillows- very clean facilities- comfortable bed - loved the location of my rooms close to the office and outdoor sitting area!

Very good base for exploring northern California

Excellent option for exploring northern California. It's easy to stay, to arrive. The team is super welcoming, especially Tobias, which was efficient and kind.

Solid place for an overnight along I5

Good location in center of Redding. Reasonably quiet. Good parking. Simple motel spiffed up to give it a modern edge. Clean. Friendly staff. We would stay again.

Concrete floor in room was a bit stark.

Lipstick on a pig.

Nothing really. Check-in was easy.

The room was plain with no decor. It looked like an old room with a poor effort at making it appear new. Craftsmanship with the update was poor. Lipstick on a pig. Did not match the photos as advertised.

We will definitely be coming back to stay again soon.

I loved everything about Americana Modern. It was so cute and clean. The staff was super friendly. The location is great.
