We absolutely loved our stay at Gili One Resort! From check-in, the staff were friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The staff throughout the resort were amazing — always so friendly, warm and ready to help.
The gentleman at reception was especially thoughtful, even apologising for the current water situation on the Gili Islands and assuring us that we should ask if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable.
The resort itself is beautiful and fits perfectly with the relaxed Gili island atmosphere. Our bungalow was spacious, clean and comfortable, with air conditioning, fresh water and even a mosquito/insect plug — such a thoughtful touch. We loved the bathroom and especially the open-air shower!
The breakfast was amazing! You choose your breakfast from a menu and everything is freshly prepared. The fresh juices were absolutely delicious — you could really taste that they were freshly made.
The pool area was clean and well maintained and perfect for cooling off in the Gili heat.
Overall, we loved the relaxed island atmosphere, the beautiful bungalows and, most of all, the wonderful staff. We will definitely be back!
Honestly, our only negative had nothing to do with the resort. Unfortunately, some guests arrived around 1am shouting, slamming doors and jumping into the pool while talking loudly. It was very inconsiderate and disturbed the peace of the resort. Sadly, you can't choose your fellow guests, and unfortunately you find inconsiderate people everywhere!

We had an OK experience at this place. We only stayed for 2 nights. The bathroom was open to outside so a lot of bugs!
Furniture was old fashioned but rooms were a good size.
