The location is awesome. Far enough from the center to stay quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to walk everywhere (groceries, restaurants, cafés, and the beach). The room is very comfortable, especially the mattress, which is something I really care about. The shower was great too, and renting a bike/scooter was super easy. I was originally supposed to stay only 4 nights, but I ended up extending my stay until the end of my trip. Very friendly staff.

It's a lovely place far away from the hustle and bustle of the island. So it's up to you if that is a good or bad thing for you. The bungalows/rooms are pretty and cute, and you feel right at home. Service was good and kind and I slept really well in probably the nicest bed I've ever had in Indonesia. If you want to be a bit away from the noise and business of the main streets and the mosque, the location is great for that. Can absolutely recommend!
Well this is the case everywhere in the Gilis: construction site noise. But I feel like one cannot escape that anywhere in the Gilis. And it did stop when sun went down and didn't start too early. If I have to say something, it would be to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the pool/pool area and cleaning the shower area. A quick fix if housekeeping pays more attention to scrubbing off the limescale. ;)

The property was around a 20 minute walk from the port and easy to find.
The bedding was ripped and dirty, only 1 towel and cup provided for two people. Twin room on the lower floor was covered in insect eggs. Room did not lock. No towels provided for the swimming pool, hot tub area not filled, pool was not cleaned daily, lights broken around the pool. Breakfast was sold out at 0900. Loud guests with family members shouting across the lower floors early hours / late at night.
