The lady who runs the hostal and restaurant was kind and capable. The room was tiny but ok, the bathroom was normal size and the bed was good. Given the perfect location right on the camino and close to bars and shops, the price was good value.
The view to an inner courtyard and the noise of the ventilation system there. But with closed window it was ok and I slept well.

The hotel's location is good – there's a bus stop like a 30 meters from the entrance and there'll be a bus that will get you to Leon (note that this bus is cash only). The room was very clean. The room was small but that's expected. Its bathroom is tiny and that's expected as well yet a bit tough. There's no AC in this room but there's a ceiling fan which does its job pretty well. The internet over wifi was acceptable for chats and casual browsing. Overall this was a decent stay for its price. There's also a cafe on the ground floor of the building but I haven't tried their food.
1. The internet speed was slow for downloading heavy content like offline maps or music\video.
2. The online communication with hotel was absent. They didn't reply to any messages I've sent them via Booking. While I was checking-in they have asked me 'if I have a WhatsApp' (which I don't have) so I believe they expect guests to have WhatsApp to chat with them. Not everyone has WhatsApp! Either provide a notice for guests to have it or don't expect them to receive your messages.
3. The check-in process was not described well. You have to get a key for a room from staff but it wasn't mentioned. Given that I was checking-in very-very late, I am not entirely sure if I was just lucky to find someone in the hotel or they have waited exactly for me or are they presented there all the time. (I've noticed the hotel about my late arrival via Booking but.. see previous point)
4. No one needs a TV in 2026, you better improve your wifi speeds.
5. The smallness of everything is expected here yet there won't be any space between you and the wall when you'll sit on a toilet.

The young people working in the bar that helped us and checked us in were the highlight of this place. They were great! Room was dark, dingy but seemed clean. Toilet was so close to the wall if anyone was very big, they wouldn’t have fit! Room had a terrible odor so we opened the windows but unfortunately it didn’t help much. My shirt the next day smelled like the room☹️ Very close to the church and restaurants which was the highlight.
Could be cleaner and smelled. Can’t recommend this one☹️
