We liked everything. The Palazzo doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you are in and got yourself and the suitcase up the stairs it is quite stunning. The space is generous, and everything is well thought through. We liked the shared kitchen and the stunning (shared) living room full of art and books and useful things, such as cushions for the arena, and various adapters, as well as lots of brochures and information. It's lovely to sit in the shade on the veranda sipping on an espresso or just reading and recovering from the heat before going out again. There is a supermarket (Aldi) just around the corner, which was handy for getting some breakfast items.
Best thing: the arena is only a 5 minute walk away!

Clean, comfortable, excellent location, great tips for enjoying the city.

Perfect location, easy to reach from the main station by bus with bus station in front of the Palazzo, just a few meters away from the Arena and Old Town, cafe, bars and an excellent ice-cream shop very close-by. Everything as described, including seat cushions for the opera! So glad to have had the air-conditioning due to the heat wave. Communication with host worked perfectly via WhatsApp, pre-arrival guidance was great as well as responsiveness during stay. Thank you very much.
8 / 10Excellent·Jul 2026
Location was excellent only a 5 minute walk into the center square. Size of accommodation was very generous. Facilities were plentiful with everything you would require for self catering. Also close to supermarket (Aldi) bars and restaurants.
The outside does have graffiti which gives a false first impression of the Neighbourhood, however it does seem to be a good safe area as we did not encounter any problems and felt very safe. There is a courtyard area to the rear which provides seating the for the ground floor apartment, however, cars do park there from time to time but normally in the daytime not evening.
