Più che un alloggio, un'esperienza!

Lodge dell'Ospite in posizione collinare (ma Ischia è collinare!) e lontana dal traffico, che garantisce assoluta tranquillità agli ospiti. Il plus è Uschi, la padrona di casa che ci ha fatto da autista, guida, ci ha riempito di attenzioni e di disponibilità. Assoluta elasticità sugli orari di arrivo e partenza. Ci è venuta a prendere all'arrivo e ci ha riaccompagnato al porto alla partenza. Ottime marmellate casalinghe e ogni giorno frutta del suo frutteto! Camera molto luminosa e originale, pulizia ok. Uschi ci ha dato tutte le info su cosa vedere e dove mangiare a Ischia. È la giusta interpretazione di come deve essere un B&B!

Ci è dispiaciuto che la vacanza sia già finita!

Autenticità, privacy e gentilezza. Soggiorno ideale per una coppia.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 2 nel periodo invernale (Epifania 2024). Il bnb si trova a cica 800m dal centro di Casamicciola, ben servito dai bus (circolari dx/sx a 800m + linea 3 in prossimità della casa). Collocato a circa 50m (in salita) da Piazza Bagni, grazie alla sua posizione centrale ma fuori dalla confusione, questo bnb offre una splendida pausa nel verde. La camera è accogliente, dotata di tutti i comfort con una splendida luce e vista su giardino. La cucina è essenziale ma dispone di lavello, frigo, bollitore, tostapane, con il necessario per cucinare (olio, sale, etc.) La pulizia è ottima. Uschi, la host, è adorabile: attenta a qualsiasi richiesta ma sempre discreta. Ama viziare i suoi ospiti con prodotti da lei stessa coltivati, preparati e serviti a colazione. Inoltre, grazie ai suoi racconti è possibile conoscere il lato più autentico dell’Isola di Ischia e di Casamicciola. Consigliato per chi è alla ricerca di pace e benessere. Torneremo sicuramente, magari nel periodo estivo per usufruire anche della piscina.

We liked it so much, we might return one day

We arrived a little late because of issues with the ferry, but the host was very accommodating and helped us tremendously with getting to and from the lodge. We were visiting in the summer during a heatwave but still we had a very pleasant stay, also thanks to the air conditioning and the pool. Not only that, Uschi knew just the right places to visit on Ischia where we could get the most out of our holiday. Casamicciola is a perfect base of operations for activities such as visiting Poseidon, La Mortella and other. We traveled around by bus, which was very doable, although the busses almost always arrive late

The wifi had some issues, but that is not a problem on Ischia. Perfect place to detox from your phone

Highly recommend

Lodge dell’Ospite has everything you need and if it doesn’t, Uschi will certainly provide it for you if you ask! The bed was so comfy and we slept very well. The terrace is a lovely place to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. It’s set up in the hills, but it’s a fairly easy walk to town too. Uschi and her family are incredibly kind, give you in depth recommendations about the island, places to eat and go etc. The apartments location in Casimicciola was great and not too touristy but had everything we needed.

Lovely room, beautiful island and wonderful hosts.

Lovely comfortable studio and gorgeous grounds. Uschi is the ultimate host, offering her Italian/German hospitality on the beautiful island of ischia. I cannot say enough nice things. Fresh breakfast every morning. Giving us fresh treats from her garden, lemons, tomatoes, cucumbers etc. Fresh eggs from her and her husband Vincenzo’s own chickens. Uschi went out of her way to recommend products for an ailment I have and also invited me into her home and did a treatment on me to give relief. Uschi has a background in beauty/health products. Her kindness really touched me. Can’t recommend this property or Ischia enough. Thank you Uschi and Vincenzo! ❤️

We liked everything, however, getting to the property for those who have mobility issues would be challenging as the road is very steep but it didn’t affect us.

Exceptional

There is hospitality and then there is Uschi. She went above and beyond in every aspect, and I can honestly say that this is one of the most special places I've ever stayed at. From the gardens with fresh loquats, passionfruits, and herbs, to the delicious breakfast with fresh eggs and homemade jams, itinerary and restaurant recommendations, and overall generosity and kindness, it was just amazing and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, so long as you are comfortable walking up a fairly steep hill.

Amazing!

Very welcoming and helpful hosts; Uschi and husband, helped us with everything we wanted and more. We got amazing advice about island: sightseeing, transport, restaurants etc. They drove us to therme in heavy rain, helped us with our rent-a-car, borrow us their rain jackets and additional beach towels ... Breakfast was delicious, with Uschi's homemade jam.

Best place in Ischia

The apartment was far beyoned my expectations and probably is the best you can find on Ischia. Being close to the main road it is a very quite and calm place. Mountain view from the terrase is beautiful and breakfast is absolutely delicious. Not even meantioning room decoration... see it for yourself!

The most charming lodge with the loveliest host, Uschi - who went above and beyond for our stay!

The most charming lodge with the loveliest host, Uschi - who went above and beyond for our stay! Book this instead of a standard, impersonal hotel, you won't be disappointed. We were greeted with a warm welcome, tips on places to visit and advice on how to get there and a breakfast every morning with homemade jams, home-grown fruit and eggs from the chickens in her garden- it was so special! The stay was perfect and unfortunately on our last day there was a big thunderstorm- but Uschi went above and beyond to help get us off the island which included calling the coast guards, boats and taxi transfers! 1000% would recommend. Thank you so much! x

Very lovely place with extraordinary hosts :)

I liked everything there, a lovely room with everything you need, and green garden, a delicious homemade breakfast, and everything were clean. The hosts (Ulrike and her husband) are extra welcoming, warm and smiley persons, who just made our stay on Ischia special. Thank you for all the helpful advice and information about Ischia, delicious passion fruits, tomatoes and very interesting travel stories :) We are very happy because we chose this place and highly recommend it to others. Hopefully, we will be back one day!

Superb

The B&B is located in the upper part of Casamicciola on approx 20 min walk from the port/city center. Closeby there are a few good restaurants but also easy to walk 20 min to the town. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast is included and consists of coffee/tea, eggs, bread and different home made jams. We are not huge breakfast eaters but this was sufficient. Usci is easy to communicate with, recommended a good place to rent a scooter (which was indeed very good). The terrace is small but good enough to sit outside. Good price-quality given the higher prices in Ischia, however take into account that renting a scooter is a good solution to get around the island, instead of taking the (overcrowded) public bus.

Nothing to comment on the B&B. On our departure, Usci recommended (and called) a taxi driver, called Ciro. He brought us to the Ischia port in a "tuk tuk" and overcharged us. It was not a pleasant experience (unsafe driver, unfriendly and charging us too much and hard bluffing that he agreed with Uschi)

great place!!

We absolutely adored this place! Uschi and her husband were great hosts and they did everything so that we feel at home! The place is a little paradise - we had a very clean and big room and lovely gardens around. Everything is full of plants and it smells so nice! They also have a little swimming pool (very clean) which is perfect with the high temperatures during summer. We were first considering to go to one of these big hotels but we didnt regret to go to this place instead - it was much more interesting to meet this couple and to get the insider knowledge of Uschi for the island. We also really appreciate it that she drove us to the harbour on the day we left Ischia - our suitcase was broken and it was impossible to walk. We don't consider this as a problem per se, but its just an advice for people who arrive: If you are handicapped, pregnant or if you have a lot and heavy luggage, I would rather take a taxi to go to Uschi's place instead of walking. part of the walk is uphill and it was very hot when we arrived (and we had a broken suitcase!), so it was a bit difficult. But if you have a small suitcase then its of course no problem to walk!

Charming hostess, beautiful setting, delicious breakfast (Fresh eggs from their hens! Fresh figs from the garden! Homemade fruit jams!) Excellent value!

Bathroom could use a little refreshing but it was clean and everything worked.

The beautiful garden with fragrant flowers and our own terrace. Uschi's breakfast was scrumptuous.

The only difficulty was the steep hill to get there, but it was really worth while!
