Great place, make sure you have a good view from your room

The swimming pool was the highlight of the hotel. The people are lovely and help with anything you need, give advice about places, etc. Our only criticism is our room was at the back, it was dark and didn't have a balcony, we also were waking up at various times during the night when people were arriving. Nevertheless it is a lovely place with great people, the cleaner, Giuseppe and Katherina were super stars.

The room wasn't the best as too close to the path or entrance. It is also dark.

A quiet, magical escape on the island of Ischia with the friendliest staff in the most beautiful hotel.

I would recommend Hotel Ape Regina to ANYONE. This was one of the only places my fiancé and I stayed where the pictures perfectly portrayed the landscape. It is a beyond gorgeous facility and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. From calling us a taxi when we couldn’t find the place, bringing us free bruschetta outside of normal kitchen hours because we said we hadn’t eaten lunch, and upgrading our room to an ocean view simply because the room wasn’t in use, Giuseppe and his staff made our stay in Ischia magical. I cannot say anything more about their incredible hospitality and beautiful hotel.

Superb

The Hotel owners and staff are extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful, they made our stay in Ischia really enjoyable. The facilities are great, the view is amazing and the breakfast croissants are delicious! Highly recommend.

Amazingly comfortable and beautiful hotel

This property is a gem! Beautiful and quiet! The sunsets were amazing, the swimming pool was so nice and relaxing. Breakfast was great! The host was super helpful and accommodating. Everything was perfect.

The only thing I would say here is the location. If you don’t have a car or motorcycle, it can be a bit challenging. But buses are available almost outside the door.

Gorgeous island views with the lemon trees.

Wonderful views among the lemon trees down the slopes of the mountain on the island, nice pool, private.

A little bit out of the way from the ports / city.

Fantastic view and lovely hosts

the view was absolutely stunning and the pool area in particular is really nice. Such a peaceful location and the hosts were really welcoming.

walls are perhaps not as soundproof as you would want but makes sense with the property itself.

A beautiful stay!!

It has beautiful views, a nice pool, the room was big. Staff were very nice and helpful! Would love to come back!!

There is a bus service, but we ended up walking up and down a few times, as we would miss it. It’s about a 30 min walk which isn’t bad if you are used to walking. We also rented a motorbike which was a great way to see the island, and didn’t have to worry about the bus. Wish the pool was open longer than till 7PM. As it would’ve be nice to see the sunset while being in the pool.

Very sweet and hospitable owners. Giuseppe was always available for help or for a nice conversation. Beautiful view, especially at sunset. At the location you feel instant relaxation.

A perfect week

we loved the hotel and the owners/the staff were amazing and helpful. They upgraded our room for free. The Food was tasty, the view was fantastic and we had a lovely week and Ape Regina have our Best recommendarion.

The best hotel room we've been to! What a view! Exceeded our expectations.

Breakfast was simple, but served personally and beautifully. Hotel hilltop location, good bus access. Staff share bus times. Quiet place.

Heaven on earth with exceptional view!

This is privately own hotel so you get service and attention you cant even dream of in chain hotels. Your satisfaction is their highest priority. The view from the hotel terrace and balcony of our room was breathtaking, even our taxi driver called it “Paradiso” so believe me its exceptional also for locals. There is a bus number 16 from the center and Cassamiciola ferry port which stops directly in front of the hotel. We have also walked from and to the hotel and it was just fine. They have decent size swimming pool where you can even swim a little. Breakfast was served and exceptional! You get a chance to choose what you like in advance and they will prepare it for you. They also make very nice drinks, which are accompanied with many snacks. There is also very good restaurant close to the hotel called Antica Fornace, where we were the only tourists surrounded by locals who come for traditional meals.

I prefer if airconditioning is not directly blowing on the bed, but I guess some people like it. But this was probably only specific to our room.

Great location | hotel | hosts & facilities

We had a great stay! The hotel is on a hill but if u take bus 16 from piazza marina / Porto di Casamicciola it stops in front of the hotel. The hosts are very kind, sweet and helpful. The facilities are good and the swimming pool is very nice. The view is amazing and u can eat there and enjoy drinks from the bar. The island Ischia is beautiful. We were so happy with our hosts and hotel that we decided to book another night. Would highly recommend!

Good

The staff were very friendly and the view from the hotel was great. The pool is very fresh and felt very well taken care of. There is a bus which stops near the hotel making it convenient to reach.

Beds were a little hard and the shower was a little confined. If you showered the toilet area was wet which isn't very comfortable
