Het zwembad was ideaal na 7uur in de wagen te zitten. 's morgens was er een lekker en gevarieerd ontbijt, perfect om de dag te beginnen. Ook handig dat je er 's avonds kan eten, ook omdat er niet veel anders in de buurt is.
Goede stop voor een trip naar het zuiden.
De grote van de familiekamer was beperkt.

Die außergewöhnliche Lage, man konnte schlafen ohne Ende, da so gut wie kein Verkehr herrscht. Das Anwesen ist so liebevoll gestaltet ( man hat großen Wert auf die Erhaltung der alten Bausubstanz gelegt), dass man sich augenblicklich in das Anwesen verliebt.

The property is situated in a small, quiet village, which we liked. There are sheep grazing closeby with bells around their necks, which created a lovely atmosphere as we sat outside. The owner was friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. Our dog was welcome. Chateau Chalon is worth visiting and within easy reach if you have a car.
Cleanliness should definitely be improved! Mugs in the kitchenette were cracked and dirty. Breakfast bowls still had dried bits of food stuck to them. Wooden staircase leading to the rooms was visibly dirty. Discovered the previous guest's underwear in the bathroom. Urine splashes against the wall in the toilet. This can be a truly lovely property once it has been deep-cleaned.
