The staff were very friendly and the view from our room over Lake Geneva was absolutely beautiful. The hotel was a decent base for discovering Geneva for a couple of days and the train connection into the city was convenient.
For the price, the level of service was quite disappointing. I asked to have a beer brought to the room and was told there would be an additional CHF 9 room-service charge, so I ended up going downstairs to get it myself. There was also no help with luggage.
The room could have been cleaner. We noticed some spiders and the windows were quite dirty. There is no AC and during the heatwave the room became very hot, so we had to keep the windows open to get some air.
The breakfast was quite average. There were no plant-based milk or yoghurt options, which was disappointing. Eating breakfast outside was also difficult because of the birds and bees.

We really loved the design of the room, and the day bed / window seat, which maximises the views and is super comfortable. Check in and out was straight forward and fast. Excellent location.
Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be a good addition. We missed this compared with other more basic hotels.

The room was OK, clean and well maintained. It had a street view. Since I had also computer work to do in the evening, the desk and seat are important. This was all sufficient, but it was a bit "marginal". The hotel also has a parking garage (part of a large one), which I used, this was all handled very well, also the payment at the check-out day.
The rooms in the hotel usually catch a lot of sun and warm up quite a bit (this mone in the afternoon-evening, especially during warm or hot periods. This means that one has to take all possible measures to keep it under control (the available fan is not really useful). So, one has to open the window during the night, to cool the room down. This gives some draft, and opens it up to the street, which, I need to say, is relatively quiet at night. The breakfast is definitely OK. However, if there is a major occupancy at the hotel, and there are many people at breakfast, items run out, and are not filled up quickly, which means, that, at certain times, it is difficult to get the breakfast items you would like.

the view
There was no air conditioning, and the noise from planes taking off early in the morning was very disturbing. In the breakfast room, some of the tables were only partially set, with either knives or forks missing.
