About this cottage rental

Situated in Topsail Beach, this charming cottage for $325 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This house rents Saturday to Saturday or Saturday to Friday. This house is second row beach with shared private access across the street to the beach, but also is a sound front lot with a pier that we share with our neighbor. The house has 4 bedrooms on the lower level and living space up top to enjoy views of Topsail Sound and the beautiful sunsets. Spacious decks on both levels with a cargo lift (use at your own risk) to both decks if you don't want to haul coolers, groceries and luggage up the stairs. Two of the four bedrooms have queen beds and vanities (sink and mirror) so you don't have to leave the room to wash up, brush your teeth, etc..... The third bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed; the 4th bedroom has a bunk over a full bed. There is a half bath upstairs in the living area, and 2 bathrooms, one with tub/shower and one with shower only, on the first level with the bedrooms. There is also an outside shower. The cottage has 3 TV's. There is a bumper pool table that doubles as a card table or eating table for 4. Wifi also. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster oven, extra frig for drinks and ice. Use of kayaks at your own risk. No pets. No smoking inside. We do not provide a cleaning service, but you are welcome to search for one on the island. Most of the rental companies have all the cleaning services booked during the summer. We simply ask that you leave the cottage as good if not better than you found it.

Everything listed was accurate. This is by far one of the best places we’ve stayed at topsail and we’ve been coming for 10+ yrs. The neighbors are great along with the privacy that this cottage offers. Private beach access was literally right down the road, very close to cottage. The only problem was ants but the renter kept spray for that. We look forward to staying again. C. Clayton

Amazing little piece of Heaven!

We could not have picked a better house! My family drove down from Maryland and my parents drove up from Atlanta to spend our vacation here. It was wonderful!! The house suited all of our needs and was very comfortable. The short walk to the beach was easy and the outdoor shower was terrific. We enjoyed our evenings on the deck watching the sunset. Walking out to the dock to watch the boats go by was fun! My husband even did a little fishing! This house had everything we needed and was tucked in a quiet setting. We truly had a wonderful vacation! We would love to stay here again!! Thank you so much!

We rented this property at the end of July 2017 as part of a larger family reunion and had a great time. Our party included 7 adults and 1 child; all were accommodated with ease and comfort. The house was clean and everything worked as designed. The small cargo elevator/lift was a bonus as it simplified getting the luggage and food up to their respective floors. The two floors each have large balconies with good views of the sunsets over the sound. We used the dock in the sound as a place to launch the kayaks and do some fishing. The beach access is semiprivate and leads to a quiet and pristine waterfront. The owners are excellent communicators and are eager to ensure you have fun without worry. This property is near quality restaurants, shopping, and other entertainment - keeping your entire family in mind. In all, we had a fantastic time and intend to book at this property again. I recommend this property without hesitation.

Perfect!

Perfect!

We had a WONDERFUL time at the Best of Beach and Sound! The location is amazing! The beach is across the street from the front of the house and the sound is right behind the house. The beach was very secluded which we also loved! The owner was so helpful with anything we needed. It was the perfect location for our family vacation! The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on all the decks. We had all the amenities and comforts of home: internet, cable, Netflix, Apple TV, large kitchen, living room and comfortable beds etc. The house is not far from Surf City which has a Walmart Marketplace and several other stores for anything you would need. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a very peaceful and relaxing vacation! We had the BEST vacation and can't wait to come back!
