Great location for exploring the area. A DIY check in and out. Room was spacious.
No cooking facilities, only a microwave in the common area.

Great location to the geothermal area and the town and the room has everything you need.
A bigger kitchen facility would be nice, but they provided wooden cutlery and a microwave.

Comfortable, clean, quiet location. Modern furnishings. Seamless check-in with PIN.
No shared kitchen or area to make breakfast which all other guesthouses have had. Very expensive in high season.

The place was a nice and cute little hotel situated in the this old village. It was our first stop on the ring road, and helped us rest for the next day of travel. It is very self-catered, which worked for us.
The images used in the description slightly over sell. If you're going during aurora season, then definitely, however the rest of the time its just a regular old cabin/guesthouse which contains the bare necessities. We only needed a place to rest as the nature was the point of our visit so this was great for us.
