Beautiful hotel, very clean, very friendly and in a great spot in the middle of everything. Couldnt have picked any better, it's in a quiet area in between the mountains and the valley

Oasis in a desert(which is icelandic hotels) great value for your money , close to selfoss, it was our 5th hotel in iceland and was a good surprise that it is really a decent hotel

Good Clean room, very supportive staff. Good breakfast options and nice hot tub. Has lots of nooks or places for people to read or hangout outside of the room.
Good choice for anyone's stay.
Only slight downside is rooms are not very sound proof.
Overall I would rate this a solid nothing wrong, but nothing overly special about it either. But does have very nice staff.

The rating is actually 4.5 and its just because on our first day, our towels smelled so musty so we had to have them replaced. Also the corridors can be very noisy especially since the doors are heavy and slams if not guided to a close. If your room is close to the Spa, the geothermal smell (sulphurish) can be smelt in your room though that is not the hotels fault at all.
The reason I continued to give it 5 stars though is because these things are bearable and is not entirely a deal breaker for me. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and breakfast was great. You can also see the northern lights when the sky is clear and the timing is great.
I would still come back and stay here.
