Great location. Perfect little private garden. Spacious accommodation. Lovely reception and great welcome basket.
This is nitpicking, but Would have been nice to have been left some oil to cook with, but I’m sure would have been provided if we had asked.

Fantastic setting and a nicely done rental cottage. Had pretty much everything I needed and a really nice host. I spent a lot of the days out but it was nice knowing I had somewhere cosy to come back to. Great woodland to walk the dog in the morning/evening. Amazing wildlife around the grounds with hundreds of deer.
Sensitive smoke alarms which went off 4 times when I used the hobs, despite the extractor fan and all windows and doors open. Staying above a host did feel a bit like I was imposing and felt the need to tip toe around. No bath meant bathing the baby in the sink was a challenge.

The accommodation was absolutely lovely! The beds were very comfy and cosy and the place was immaculate. The tea/coffee and breakfast provided were a lovely touch. The owner was also lovely and nothing was too much.
There wasn't anything really, sadly the heating tripped and so one day was a little cold, but when we got hold of the owner he fixed it straight away. Excellent service. The only small thing I would say, is yu need to walk up wooden flight of stairs to get in and it's a little slippy in the rain, but that was it.
