Great views of the sea from the terrace.

The room we had was a triple for just 2 of us so it had two bedrooms and lots of space. There is a great balcony with seats for looking at the sea view. It is close to restaurants but the town is small and easy to get around. The breakfast was very good.

Fab stay in Ponta do Sol

Guillaume and his team welcomed us with a fresh juice and the service was fab from that moment up to our departure. Extremely reactive and helpful. The rooms are very nicely decorated, lovely home made breakfast. We highly recommend that hotel, on top of that they do have a very ecological approach which we appreciated! Thanks again Guillaume for making our stay so special!

Nice room.

Very nice room with good views. Good location.

Communication very difficult if you don’t speak French or Portuguese. Do not stay here if you have food allergy. I have Coeliacs Disease and messaged the manager ahead of our visit to explain that I can’t eat gluten and was told there would be other options. This was not communicated to staff and as no-one spoke English, it became a problem- I provided my own breakfast in the end as eating their breakfast became too stressful. Also, pack light… lots of stairs and no-one to help carry cases.

Perfect place to stay!

The staff and the owner (Guillaume) are fantastic! The know what service is and are very welcoming. Kasa Tambla is very clean and the hotel is organised perfectly! I really can recommend highly staying here.

Pleasant

Hotel very close to the shoreline. Wonderful sunset fron our room. Of course depending on the weather. Some nice restaurants.nearby.

Doorlock didn't work properly. Toilet was dirty on arrival.

We adore this place! Sea-front, respectful to local community, plenty of travel info

Our 40 sqm sea view suite at the rooftop is just as awesome as in the photos! Clean and modern decorated with a small terrasse. It provides us the privilege of enjoying the fantastic view and charming symphony of the sea. We really like this hotel which is mananged by a nice French owner - Guillaume and a team of super friendly staff with a lot of respect to the local community. For example, he provides bottle re-fill service to reduce use of plastic and shares advice in terms of different local subjects like taxi/collectivo rates and charity. The hotel also makes their own detailed hiking trail booklet. You will not be bored if you like hiking! Welcome drink and breakfast are super fresh also.

The wifi is very weak on the rooftop. Good in the garden though.

Great Value Hotel In Central Ponta do Sol

Kasa Tambla is located near the waterfront in central Ponta do Sol. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance and the fish market is less than a block away. The hotel is well-maintained with great views of the beautiful coastline from the top floor lounge area. The rooms are basic, but stylish and clean. My guess is that Kasa Tambla is the best option in this price range in Ponta do Sol. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

Very nice terrace and view. Great location. Close to the sea but also to the main square. Big room. Really good and rich breakfast

Room decoration and furniture were old. Horrible Wifi. If you are a digital nomad who needs internet forgot about staying here

Beautiful sunsets

Excellent location, we watched the sunset from the terrace area & could relax watching the crashing ocean waves. Staff did there best to give advice on hikes & explain different transport cost options to us.

We really enjoyed our stay, but as quite a few places in Cape Verde, felt it was a little overpriced.

Very comfortable room and a nice location to start a hike

Breakfast was not very varied and there was always only sweet food to eat. There is no wifi working in the rooms and even on the first floor the wifi was very poor.

Superb!

Lovely place with good breakfast, nice room, fast wifi and friendly staff. Guillaume is very nice and easygoing guy who can provide all necessary information about hiking routs and arrange all what you need. I already miss Ponta do Sol and Kasa Tambla :)

Great guesthouse Ponta do Sul

Kasa Tambla is a lovely guest house in Ponta do Sul. It is exceptionally well run and managed and the staff are lovely. The bulk of other travellers are French and some are serious hikers and walkers. The guest house provides lots of information on walks as well as arranging taxis, tours and hire of equipment. A really lovely is served ion the courtyard in the mornings with a variety of local ingredients, fruits and juices. The rooms are large and comfortable and there is a strong emphasis on environmental awareness. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wifi only works in courtyard.

Great place to stay in Ponta Do Sol

I stayed here three nights. These were not consecutive, but I used this lovely guesthouse as a base and went for overnight walks and other parts of the island. All three rooms I stayed and we’re very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly. Guilliame the owner was very responsive. He arranged to have me picked up when I arrived at the ferry and dropped out of trailhead and had my luggage brought to the hotel while I walked. It did something similar on the reverse. Breakfast was very nice and taken in the courtyard. Located within 2 to 3 minutes walk of restaurants.

Everything was fine.
